A 2018 Wedding of the Ages

Let us begin this post by apologizing for the recent silence that has befell the Evolution Through the Ages accounts over the course of the last two weeks.   On June 2nd, 2018 two top level executives of Evolution Through the Ages became legally joined in marriage.  


    Jacob Stagray (CEO) and Devin Reeson (Director of Social Media) were joined in a lawfully wedded marriage on June 2, 2018 at 11:45a.m.  The couple has been together since before the dawn of the corporation Evolution Through the Ages, as well as for the concept of the game.


    Devin Reeson serves as a graphic designer at several local Slidell companies such as Expo Signs, DirectMail, and Slidell Magazine.  He graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in December of 2013.  Additionally, he is currently serving as the Director of Social Media for Evolution Through the Ages.  Under this position, Devin works directly with Jacob in order to ensure that the social media platforms of Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are up and running with relevant content that will intrigue users, as well as entice them to help our company  continue to develop, as well as aid in the distribution of our education video game to people throughout the world.


    Jacob Stagray is currently serving as an introduction to biology teacher, both on level and honors courses, at Fontainebleau High School in Mandeville, LA.  Jacob graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in May of 2015.  Despite both of these individuals spending time on Southeastern's campus, the two never bumped into each other.  It would not be until December of 2015 that the two would finally meet the love of their lives.



    On December 15th, 2013 Jacob would connect with Devin via an online dating app.  They would meet up in a local park, known as Heritage Park.  The couple spent several hours talking under the Scoggin Station.  When Jacob first saw Devin, he knew it would be completely different this time.  Something in his gut just told him;  his heart almost stereotypically skipped a beat. The couple would met up nearly every day for the next month, before finally making their relationship officially   exclusive on January 18th, 2014.





Over the course of the next four and a half years, the couple would move from Slidell, LA to Shreveport, LA.  From Shreveport to Slidell; and from Slidell to Covington, LA.  They Traveled to Atlanta, GA , Memphis, TN , Chattanooga TN, Gatlinburg, TN, Destin, FL, Navarre, FL, and Manhattan, NY.  They went together to the Pet Shelter in Shreveport When Jacob adopted his dog, Shiloh.  Shiloh would eventually become the ring bearer in the ceremony between Jacob Stagray and Devin Reeson.

The Ceremony was officiated by Daniel Reeson near a lakefront on the Reeson family's Slidell property.



The Reception was hosted by the Stagray family at their residence in Slidell.  The wedding cake was a creation by Rhonda Thole, with live flower additions from Distinctive Floral Designs.




Jacob's best man in the wedding was the COO and lead programmer of Evolution Through the Ages, Sean Craft.  Sean delivered one of the most sentimental and heartfelt toasts at the reception.


Now that all of the festivities have concluded, families have returned to their respective zip codes, and the house is finally decluttered from the chaos; that is the week before a wedding, wedding gifts, and a teacher closing out a school year at a school.  All three major executives of Evolution Through the Ages, LLC have now fully refocused their attentions back on their primary task of promoting the game and company Evolution Through the Ages.
